I just didn't have the time, and Nintendo's website started giving me errors a few days before the shut down whenever I tried to add funds from my credit card, prompting me to have to resort to eShop gift cards.
And even then, I couldn't get everything. I must have spent over $2000 getting all the stuff I wanted. I understand why they did it, but it's still sad nonetheless.
In all seriousness, it is sad that they have shut down. In the immortal words of Douglas Adams, "So long, and thanks for all the fish." I'm saving them in case I cannot find Metroid Prime Remastered physically.Īt least I can say I'm glad I have the Super Mario Advance games (including Super Mario 64 DS) and their originals (minus Super Mario 64) on my Wii U. Now I have about 320 Mexican pesos in eShop credit for the Switch plus about 330 pesos from My Nintendo Gold Points. My last intended purchases were Excitebike 64, Mario Party 2, Kirby 64 and Super Mario 64, I could only get Excitebike 64.
