The more you “mess around” with tools and rule-sets, the more likely it is that you get problems with your game (and maybe even with your computer). The use of mods or mod tools of any sort is not in any way supported by the developers or HeavenGames. Tools used to create scenarios with additional features, even if those scenarios are playable with the standard version of the game.Those typically change the units in the game, and/or how the game mechanics work.

We have chosen to define a Mod as anything that is not immediately available for use with the unmodified game that is installed from the CD.
I’ll also add an “Info from the Author” page if the author wants to present extra information about the mod here (email in that case). The categorization and short descriptions should help identifying those mods that may be of interest to you. The intention is to list all mod related “products” that are available for AoW, to provide links to where they can be downloaded and where more information about them can be found.
